Another Elkhart Company is stepping up and making changes to help their neighbors as the COVID-19 response continues. Kem Krest has already started making their own hand sanitizer for its current customers and employees and hopefully will be able to produce mass amounts soon.
The company makes chemical packaging but still needs a permit in order to purchase alcohol in large enough amounts to produce it in large batches.
The company’s CEO says that it’s up to private industries to get together and find “innovative and creative ways to support the community”. They also told ABC 57 that they do have more products in mind but are working on the first phases of those ideas.
