YMCA of Michiana, Inc. is a community service organization, responding to critical social needs – such as addressing the obesity epidemic and raising high school graduation rates – by drawing together the collective strength of community leaders and volunteers. We are uniquely positioned to bring about real changes in these areas as our offerings touch every segment of the community. Kids learn to swim and play basketball and the positive benefits of competition. Families come together with a community of healthseekers which supports health home life. Adults find social connections which helps overall well-being. No one is denied participation at the Y because of income, social status, age or gender. We are not for profit, we are for all!
